Frank C. Carr Founder
Frank C. Carr gave up a successful career in publishing in 1969 to found INROADS. Inc. Frank graduated from Princeton in 1944 and spent the rest of WWII as a naval aviator.
After his war service he spent 20 years in publishing with Holt, Rhinehart & Winston, first in New York and later in Chicago.
He participated in the 1963 civil rights march on Washington and heard the “I Have a Dream speech” delivered by Dr. Martin King Jr. It inspired him eventually to leave his job and start INROADS.
In 1983, at age 61 and a widower, he retired from INROADS and entered the seminary to eventually become a parish priest in Yuma, Arizona.
