Charleston Intern at Monsanto

INROADS/Charleston opened with 16 interns sponsored by 10 companies in 1979 and later became known as INROADS/West Virginia.

In addition, nineteen high school students received skill-oriented and career oriented instruction in the pre-engineering program conducted at West Virginia State University. Union Carbide made a three year grant of $185,000 towards the start-up of both programs.
