INROADS/Columbus opened with 38 interns in 1986.

Funding for the start-up of the affiliate was from Columbus Foundation ($18,000), and $5,000 each from Arthur Andersen, AT&T, BancOhio National Bank, Batelle Memorial Institute, Mutual Insurance, Nationwide Insurance.
